Ingredients:
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 cup chicken broth (reduced sodium)
1 T onion powder
1 t Turmeric
Dash of apple cider vinegar
Simply put all ingredients into your crock pot and cook for 3-4 hours. If you have a crock pot that can be timed to start heating on its own, you can have this chicken ready to eat when you come home from work or other daily obligations. Another option is to cook it up in the evening and pack it in a small container for lunch the following day. It reheats easily.
Try shredding the chicken breasts and piling it into large lettuce or cabbage leaves. This will create a wrap that is completely on plan with phase 2!
